Art critic Oksana Shpak notes in her article "PAINTING ON GLASS OF EASTERN OPILLA AND WESTERN PODILLIA" of the mid-second half of the 20th century. (field research materials of 2011), about such glass decorative frames for photocopy icons (which were widely distributed in the 1940s-1960s): "today there are quite rare examples of the functioning of decorative glass frames in residential premises. Therefore, cases when such works are still in the interior, they deserve special attention."
