For a long time, Malva served as food during times of bad harvest, so it became a symbol of survival and perseverance. However, Mallow in its pure appearance cannot be called tasty. In some translations of the Bible, you will guess that mallow was considered to be used to bring God’s allegiance. So she began to associate herself with humility and faith. Malva is one of the symbols of my homeland - Ukraine. I created this oil painting with joy and trepidation. The work was painted from life, in the summer of 2024
