Pink Triangle

canvas, acrylic yarn / Cross Stitch Art I was trying to reflect today\'s life in more simple and substantial way. The theme is not specific and easy to perform, however I am rather pleased with the result. The background in combination with the triangle presents one single unit. The colors of the contemporary life (from my point of view the most significant peculiarity of the present is seen in youth subculture \"EMO\" (from Eng. - emotions), the main colors of which are pink and black.) The present means not only things that we have, see and understand. Its roots go deep in the past and it is directed to the future. The same happens with the triangle - it begins from emptiness (black color), then grows rapidly, extends and fills with the substance. The Ukrainian ornament inside of the triangle represents a patrimony. The symbolics and world view for the modern person is \"terra incognita\". Special position of the triangle, namely not in the man\'s or a feminine form, can be understood as its bipolarity. \"Everything old is new again.\"
